Good morning,
Let's end the week with a bang, yeah? We have billionaires being, well... billionaires, discussing why AI probably is probably great and most likely won't steal your job (so long as your not a drone).
Microsoft and OpenAI's bromance deepens, giving birth to ORCA, a new LLM model that could potentially shake the market up.
Meta is being Meta and doing lots of creepy things with, as usual, your data but also AI frameworks. What's the worst that could happen? Joan is Awful springs to mind.
Read on, find out more, and make sure you check out the DEEP DIVE section as well as the Well... That's Cool section (especially if you're a copywriter or blogger by trade).
PromptDrive.ai is a web application designed to enhance your prompt creation workflow. It enables you to create prompts, add context notes, and efficiently manage and organize your prompts for easy access and sharing.

Use Cases:
ZenoChat, a new AI developed by TextCortex, can fetch any up-to-date information from the internet or from any of your data sources.
You can even add your AI Persona and customize ZenoChat to make it sound like whomever you want. Simply create your digital twin.
In a significant development, Microsoft Research, in collaboration with OpenAI, has revealed a new AI model named Orca.
This model is designed to imitate and learn from larger foundational models such as GPT-4, enabling it to bypass the limitations typically associated with smaller models.
Despite its smaller size, Orca can be customized for specific tasks and operated independently, eliminating the need for extensive computational resources and large data centers.
Orca is a 13 billion parameter AI model that can mimic the reasoning and complex instructional processes of GPT-4, which is believed to possess over one trillion parameters.

Moreover, Orca is built on the Vicuna model and has shown remarkable learning capabilities. Microsoft is leveraging large-scale and diverse imitation data to foster progressive learning in Orca.
In terms of performance, Orca has already outperformed Vicuna by 100% on challenging zero-shot reasoning benchmarks like Big-Bench Hard (BBH), and it operates 42% faster than traditional AI models on AGIEval.
When compared to ChatGPT on reasoning benchmarks, Orca demonstrates competitive performance despite its smaller size. While it shows promise on academic exams such as SAT, LSAT, GRE, and GMAT, it still lags behind GPT-4.
The Microsoft research team anticipates that Orca's skills and capabilities will continue to improve as it learns from step-by-step explanations provided by humans and more advanced language models.
This development represents a noteworthy stride in the evolution of AI and its application in various products and services.
See you next Monday!
